Dissociative Montage
This is a section from my written Masters Thesis that discusses the method of editing that I used in my film Somewhere West. I have pioneered the theory supporting Dissociative Montage as a cohesive editing method that not only unites the numerous editing techniques that bring it to life, but more importantly, has the potential to elevate narrative cinema to what I believe is a more poetic expression.
