The State Theatre Colorbook was a community driven project designed to create a new policy trailer for the State Theatre in Traverse City, MI. The project took 6 months to complete and includes roughly 5,500 individually hand colored frames. inspired by 48 iconic films spanning the last 100 years. With over a dozen schools, several community groups, professional artists and hundreds of folks who joined in the fun at “Color Parties” all over Traverse City, this project tapped into the creative energy of Northern Michigan and brought people together young and old to enjoy one of life’s simple pleasures – coloring! The Colorbook was conceived by The TreeFort Collective and Produced by The TreeFort Collective and FishSoup Films. Original Music by Luke Kelly.
